20/01/2021 - Exhibition “Fil du temps, Connexions textiles” in Montreuil

Initially imagined and shown at the Maison de l’Artisanat et des Métiers d’Arts in Marseille south of France in early 2019, see specific articles in the news section for the concerned period, the exhibition “Fil du temps, Connexions textiles” proposed by Ysabel de Maisonneuve is now presented at the Tignous Contemporary Art Center in an expanded version, nourished by more recent pieces by artists and always echoing the exceptional collection of popular art by Tuulikki Chompré.
I am very happy to be associated with it, so much this universe touches me.

24/09/2020 - Views of the “BLEU de travail” exhibition

I am extremely happy, and proud, to participate in the “BLEU de travail” (workwear) exhibition presented from September 18 to October 4, 2020 in Roubaix, France.

Beyond the incredible artistic proposal proposed by Olivier Muzellec and the Non-Lieu‘s team, it is a real wonder to discover the magnificent Cavrois-Mahieu Textile Factory, an undeniable industrial heritage, wonderfully highlighted, with the last passage crossing one of its two preserved chimney, and the huge stokehole where are presented, among other things, the magnificent unique pieces of the Tuulikki CHOMPRÉ‘s collection.

07/02/2019 - Views of the exhibition “Thread of time, textile connections”

For the exhibition “Thread of time, textile connections” presented at the MAMA – Maison de l’Artisanat et des Métiers d’Art in Marseille from December 14, 2018 to February 16, 2019, I photographed the hands of the artists Ysabel de MaisonneuveDiana BrennanVeronika MoosSandrine PincemailleFanny ViolletAude TahonLaurent Nicolas (from left to right below).

Real photographic portrait, each image incorporates an accessory and a gesture specific to the own work of the artist. It was for me a very nice moment of intimacy created and shared. Thanks to all the artists for their trust, and to Ysabel de Maisonneuve who was the artistic director of this project.
